Alumni Spotlight with Juliet Williams

Alumni Spotlight With Juliet Williams

We love catching up with The Wellspring School’s Alum!

Juliet Williams graduated from our Amma Therapy Program in February of 2017. Since then, she has started her own practice called Urban BodyWorks, within the Good Life Medicine Center in NE Portland. Visit her website to learn more about Juliet’s services, and to schedule an appointment!

We asked Juliet to tell us more about her practice, and how she is enjoying life so far as an Amma Therapy Practitioner:

“My practice is going really well overall. I’m seeing a mix of clients for both Amma Therapy and Myokinesthetics. Mostly treating orthopedic, musculoskeletal and nerve related disorders. I have a package called “East Meets West” where I do both treatments in one session and the results have been amazing. My practice is called Urban BodyWorks and I have a room as an independent practitioner at the Good Life Medicine Center on NE Alberta. I am in clinic Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays from 9am-5pm. My favorite part about being an LMT/Amma Therapist is that I now have the ability to work independently and make my own schedule. As a student and just starting out in the program this wasn’t on my radar. It’s better than I ever expected because I now have a unique and comprehensive skill-set that allows me to treat people fast, effectively and successfully.”

Juliet ALSO had the opportunity to travel to Croatia in April where she met up with past Wholistic Nutrition Program instructor, Jennifer Adler, who led am amazing Culinary Tour through the country. For more information on what Jennifer’s been up to as well as her future adventures, check out her website, Passionate Nutrition.

Here is what Juliet had to say about her family’s Croatia experience:

“My family and I traveled to beautiful Croatia for a once in a lifetime culinary tour with Jennifer Adler. It did not disappoint! It was a much more personalized and unique experience then you would find on just any tour. The accommodations where beautiful and all of the other travelers were so friendly. Each day took us on a new adventure to not only some of the most beautiful sites, but the tastiest restuarants too. Learning the cooking culture there has changed how I cook at home. My kids (age 7 and 10) are still talking about the trip and we honestly can’t wait to go back again. It is without hesitation to anyone considering this tour, DO IT. We had a magical time.”

Thanks, Juliet! We wish you all of the best in your practice and enjoying many adventures with your family!
