There are many elements that can make or break a learning experience, and one especially important element is the teacher. Whether you join one of our professional certification programs or an evening workshop here at The Wellspring School, chances are one of your teachers will be Rylen Feeney.
Meet Rylen Feeney
Rylen is our founder, co-director, lead instructor, and very much at the heart center of our mission, our educational philosophy, and our curriculum. Over the past decades, she has shared her knowledge, wisdom, and enthusiasm with many students and community members, and from what we have heard back from them we can say it is a profound, transforming, and enjoyable learning experience.

Wonder what it’s like to study with her? Here’s one way to get a sense of her teaching style: Earlier this year, Rylen taught a tele seminar class titled Healing Herbs: 5 common spices to use in your practice leading up to her teaching wholistic nutrition classes on the East Coast. We invite you to tune in at your leisure.
Study with Rylen
Like what you hear? We have several great opportunities to study with Rylen in person coming up this fall:
On September 21, we will begin our professional Wholistic Nutrition certification program. Click here to find out what makes it stand out, download the current student catalog, and get your application in asap!
Starting September 10, Introduction to Wholistic Nutrition is one of our all-time most popular offerings and a very in-depth, accessible class series that respects each student’s individual needs, choices, and circumstances.
Another upcoming highlight is our weekend workshop Caring for Cancer – A Wholistic Approach. Rylen will co-lead this workshop with Michael Guida, adding up to 40+ years of combined experience working with people living with cancer. This workshop is open to anyone living with cancer or caring for someone who does, either in a professional role or in a personal relationship. Rylen and Michael have a very empowering approach to this illness, acknowledging that it not only affects the physical body but the whole person, body, mind, spirit, and relationships.
Check our Classes page for more details about these and more classes with Rylen. If you have any questions or would like to connect, you can also call or email us or stop by our next open house on Wednesday, September 11, from 5:30 until 7:00 pm.
Before then, enjoy the Five Spices class and let us know what you think!
