What am I talking about? I am talking about the FANTASTIC Community Health Fair hosted by one of our soon-to-graduate Wholistic Nutrition Program Groups this past Friday evening. This is the program event where students pick a topic of interest related to wholistic living and develop a booth with related materials that are informative, interesting, beautiful and in many cases, yummy! The event was open to the public and students had the chance to actively engage attendees in a setting where they can talk about what they’ve been studying for the past couple of years as well as their table topic. They get lots of questions about the program, wholistic nutrition in general, and obviously, their great topics.
This year’s event was “Spring into Nutrition: Sowing the Seeds of Wellness.” Table topics ran the gamut from Wheatgrass to Wholistic Hygiene to Afro-Vegan Foods to Edible Flowers and many more.
We ask all of our attendees to complete evaluations on the event as it helps our students to continue their growth and development as head towards the end of their program. Here’s what some folks had to say about the event:
“I really enjoyed the event. It was organized and put together really nicely. All the students carried themselves with confidence and passion. I loved it!”
” The vent was very informative! I loved the handouts. I’ll try some new ideas.”
“I enjoyed spending times with such positive, high vibrational people who are passionate about what they are doing!”
“Nutrition is fun!”
We are very proud of all of our students for their hard work and for making their event such a success. Congratulations!
You have one more chance to meet students from this group. If you are interested in attending a Wholistic Nutrition Program Clinic in April (18th & 19th) or May (16th or 17th), please register on our classes page.
