Jason N. Lee, Dipl. of Culinary Arts. Serv Safe Certified has over 25 years of experience as a chef, manager and instructor in the food industry. Jason graduated from Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Portland, Oregon, in 2001. His experience spans classical European training including grade manager, cuisine to baking and pastries. His background covers a diverse range of culinary experience from working in 4 star resort hotels in Vail, Colorado to boutique start up cafes and bakeries in Portland to catering. Jason also worked for several years as the Retail & Sustainability Restaurant Manager for Providence Hospital. Jason has served as chef/co-instructor for The Wellspring School Wholistic Nutrition Program cooking classes for the last few groups. Jason brings a sense of humor as well as a strong whole foods based approach to the (kitchen) classroom. His classes include a strong emphasis on technique as well as balanced nutrition. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his wife and four kids hiking, camping and exploring the natural beauty of Oregon.
