Rylen Feeney is a dedicated scholar of the wisdom of Chinese medicine and wholistic healthcare. She has been an Amma Therapist and instructor of Chinese Medicine and alternative healthcare since 1990. Rylen graduated from San Francisco State University, Cum Laude, with a BA in Psychology. She continued her education at the New York College for Wholistic Health Education and Research & The Clayton School of Natural Healing where she studied wholistic health, Amma Therapy, massage, herbs and nutrition. A lifetime student, Rylen completed a 2-year study of 5-element theory and Chinese Medicine in an evolutionary context with Lonny Jarrett in 2007.
Rylen started teaching Amma Therapy, nutrition, herbs, mediation, Qigong, and wholistic medicine in 1993. She is a passionate instructor who is committed to The Wellspring’s continued excellence. She is an active AOBTA (American Organization for Bodywork Therapies of Asia) member, AOBTA Certified Instructor, Current Registered Instructor committee chair and former AOBTA national Director of Education. She also served the NCCAOM (National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine) as a subject matter expert and education development committee for Asian Bodywork Therapy for several years. She and lives and maintains a limited private practice Portland, Oregon.
As a practitioner Rylen’s expertise are in family health concerns and maintenance, digestive issues, autoimmune disorders, cancer recovery, managing depression and anxiety and moving toward a healthier more authentic expression of life.
