Wholistic Nutrition Student Video Project: Honeybees and Colony Collapse Disorder
This is the last official week to register for our next professional Wholistic Nutrition certification program, starting September 21st. The program is filling up but we have a few more open spots. One of those can be yours; just make sure to get your applications in now! The enrollment deadline is September 1st.
A recent student project: The honeybee
Curious what kind of work you may be expected to do as a student during your tenure in the program? In addition to reading, research, test and papers, students complete a variety of hands-on projects, applying what they’ve learned in creative and engaging ways.
We think it’s important that students are able to tackle important topics that relate to nutrition, our food sources, etc. in ways that are easy to follow, yet relevant and informative. We are consistently amazed at the work out students produce.
We thought we’d share one with you that touches on a sweet topic that is very important to us at The Wellspring School – the honeybee!
And in case anyone is interested in helping out our local honeybees, check out and sign this petition to ban bee killing pesticides in Oregon.
Thanks, Kelly C. for creating this great video!
